Kommersant added that the ministry said the Kryvyi Rih plant supplied the military-industrial complex and that a power substation in Zhytomyr, which carries electricity from western to central regions, was also hit. Interfax said the ministry named the Zaporozhtransformator (Запорожтрансформатор) plant, which made power oil transformers of 220-750 kV, and quoted it as saying the plant had been under Ukrainian Defence Ministry management since 2022 and was used for the armed forces.
