A fire broke out at one of the enterprises in the Michurinsk district of the Tambov region after a drone attack, regional Governor Evgeny Pervyshov said on 20 October. "There are no injured. All necessary forces and means have been brought in to put out the fire," he wrote, according to Interfax. TASS headlined its report as a fire following a strike by Ukrainian armed forces on an enterprise and said no one was hurt. [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 5 ]
The governor also said four drones were shot down over the region during the night and morning of 20 October. RIA Novosti, quoting him, described them as Ukrainian and said three were destroyed by mobile fire groups of BARS "Tambov". RIA Novosti quoted the governor as calling the incident a "terrorist attack by UAV of the neo-Nazi Kyiv regime". [ 2 , 3 ]
Kommersant said the name of the enterprise was not specified. It recalled that the region came under a massed drone attack in mid-summer, and that on the night of 18 July seven people died and more than 20 were injured in connection with a Wildberries logistics center in the town of Kotovsk. [ 5 ]
